Today marks the final day of trade for Kuzzy and his amazing team at the Appin Hotel Bistro and it’s hard to put into words just how much they’ve meant to our community.
Kuzzy has been so much more than a business owner. The bistro became a real hub for Appin; a place where people came together, shared a meal, had a laugh, and felt at home. Over the years, he has given back in countless ways, sponsoring local teams, supporting community events, and quietly helping families who needed it most. That kind of generosity doesn’t go unnoticed.
Any time he was asked to support a cause his answer was 'whatever ypu want - you can have it" and he always followed through!
Through COVID and all the challenges that came with it, Kuzzy and his team adapted, kept going, and continued to look after the community. The friendships, loyalty, and connections built over the years are a reflection of the genuine care he’s shown to everyone who walked through the doors. And of course, the great food and welcoming staff have made it a place people kept coming back to.
On a personal level, this one really hits hard. Kuzzy, you’ve been an incredible support and a true friend. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done, not just for the community, but for us personally.
Thank you for the years of service, the memories, the laughs, and the outstanding food. You and your team will be deeply missed.
