Don’t overcharge or overheat batteries.
Avoid dropping, crushing, or puncturing them.
Keep away from metal objects.
If a battery catches fire: do NOT use water – use sand, dirt, or a Class D extinguisher and call emergency services.

Dispose of damaged batteries safely at a recycling point.

✔️ Keep real trees well-watered so they don’t dry out
