What you’ll do:
• Utilising your advanced customer service and communication skills by acting as a key point of contact for internal staff, customers, external providers and stakeholders
• Continually improving our administration systems and processes to maximise efficiency and consistency
• Successfully managing the integration and connectivity between administration and customer service with all other functions of the business
• Overseeing day to day office operations to make sure the workplace runs smoothly
• Assisting the General Manager & Operations Manager with administrative tasks and diary support
• Managing administrative systems such as records, filing, and office procedures
• Supporting and coordinating staff, including the training of new starters and handling basic people matters
• Managing budgets and expenses, including tracking costs and approving office equipment spending
• Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment, and liaising with suppliers
• Maintaining office facilities, including equipment, maintenance, and utilities
• Ensuring health and safety compliance within the office

ABRI is seeking a technically strong Quantitative Geneticist to support the scientific integrity and evolution of BREEDPLAN® and our global genetic evaluation services. This applied role sits at the intersection of quantitative genetics, genomics and operational delivery.

What you’ll do:
• Undertake parameter estimation and evaluation diagnostics
• Support genomic evaluations (GBLUP, ssGBLUP)
• Translate research into stable production pipelines
• Engage with breed societies, researchers and technical committees
• Contribute to new traits, indices and international evaluations

You will bring postgraduate training in quantitative genetics or animal breeding, strong analytical capability, and experience working with complex datasets and mixed‑model methodologies.
