Monday / Day 9 on the Bash 440km
Swan Hill to Finley to Wagga Wagga
Kicked off the day with the warm, close-knit community of Lake Boga Primary School – just 64 students, endless heart. A classic country welcome at Finley Public School in the Riverina. This proud agricultural hub supplies everything from wool and wheat to dairy and rice – and has stories in every street. Wrapped the day in Wagga, ready for tomorrow’s adventures. Lego Team

We're gearing up for the 2025 Variety B to B Bash, and our Lego-themed cars are ready to hit the road! But we need your support to make a real impact. Every donation goes directly to Variety – The Children’s Charity, helping provide essential support to children and families across Australia.

Inspired by the work of Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT we wanted to support them by raising money as part of our participation in the Variety Bash.

The final day of the 2024 Variety B to B Bash brought so much fun and laughter, and a big celebration!
Day 12 began at Coonabarabran Public School on Kamilaroi land, where we were treated to our final breakfast by the awesome school community. The students even matched our Bashers' colourful costumes with their own for Book Week! Variety granted Coonabarabran Public School $7,273 for aluminium bench seating which will help keep the students, teachers and the community involved with school events.
And in classic Bash style, for our final night dinner, we donned our best Bash Black Tie outfits.

We’ve raised a whooping $34000 and still going > https://fundraise.varietynswact.org.au/fundraisers/teamlego

What a journey it's been! Over the past few days, we've faced mechanical and technical challenges, and the long drives are starting to take their toll. It's day 10 of the bash, and we began with a delightful breakfast hosted by Emerald State School on Western Kangoulu land.
Variety generously provided the school with an $8,000 grant for an Aquafil Hydrobank water station, which promotes student health and reduces waste, enhancing overall wellbeing. A big thank you to Emerald State School for their warm hospitality!
After leaving Emerald, we traveled through Taroom on Iman/Yiman land and ended our day in Miles on Barunggam land.
We'd also like to thank and Arrow Sales for their support this year. We've raised an incredible $34,000 so far, and the donations are still coming in. If you'd like to contribute, you can do so here > https://fundraise.varietynswact.org.au/fundraisers/teamlego

Day 7: After a well-deserved rest in Mount Isa, our Bashers set off to Burketown — the final stop of the very first Bash in 1985 - before ending the day in beautiful Karumba, or ‘Barradise’ as it’s affectionately known! 🐟 We couldn’t miss a few legendary stops along the way to say g’day to the locals.
