Yesterday at the International Cake Show Australia, I really stepped out of my comfort zone and spent the day learning the art of painting directly onto cakes using edible paints. 🎨✨
This is my work in progress, and I can’t wait to finish it!
A huge thank you to the wonderful Sam Cake Yard for such an incredible workshop. Your encouragement and amazing teaching made learning this new skill so much less daunting.
I love challenging myself to learn new techniques, and I’m excited to incorporate edible painting into my future cake designs. The learning never stops.

Yesterday at the International Cake Show Australia in Brisbane, I had the opportunity to learn how to create this beautiful full-blown peony from wafer paper. It’s amazing how such a delicate medium can be transformed into such a lifelike sugar flower
