We’re starting to roll out a new system across Murchison Mining Services to make safety and site documentation easier and more consistent.

SiteDocs will gradually replace paper-based processes with a digital platform that helps our crews:
▪️Complete and access reports in real time
▪️Ensure all required information is captured before submission
▪️Spend less time on paperwork

Crews will be able to use tablets on site, including underground, with everything syncing once they’re back above ground. There’s also a mobile app to support access where needed.

We’re beginning with inspection and incident reports, with more features to be introduced as the rollout continues.

This is an important step in improving how we manage safety, compliance and day-to-day operations.

We deliver integrated underground infrastructure scopes that support mine development and production, including continued work at 29Metals’ Golden Grove operation.

Our scope at Golden Grove includes pneumatic vent doors, DBR frames and custom louvres, poly welding services, underground dewatering infrastructure, and maintenance paste and backfill infrastructure.

All systems are designed for tough underground conditions and delivered with a practical, safety‑led approach focused on reliable installation and long‑term performance.

We’ve added a Mecalac Australia Revotruck 6 to our fleet, strengthening our ability to support infrastructure and installation‑focused underground projects.

A fully rotating cab keeps operators facing the direction of travel, improving visibility, safety and control in constrained underground environments.

Its compact design and multi-mode steering deliver greater agility in tight spaces, supporting more efficient material movement and reducing delays.

The recent evacuation at Newmont’s Cadia Gold Mine following an Australian magnitude earthquake of 4.5MLa is a timely reminder of how critical preparedness is in underground operations.

All underground personnel were safely accounted for, with no injuries reported. It’s an outcome that reflects not just training and procedures, but the reliability of the systems they had in place.

Underground emergencies are rarely predictable. When visibility is reduced and pressure is high, outcomes depend on infrastructure that performs as intended. Escapeways, access routes and ventilation controls are not just compliance items. They are operational systems that must function under real-world conditions.

As underground mines continue to increase in depth and complexity, robust, fit‑for‑purpose safety infrastructure will remain fundamental to protecting people when it matters most.
