Fowles Wine is an award winning family owned winery located in the Strathbogie Ranges, Victoria, Australia. The Strathbogie Ranges has been established as a wine region for nearly half a century and we craft a range of cool climate wines within our six core brands: The Rule, The Exception, Ladies who Shoot their Lunch, Are you Game?, Stone Dwellers and 490metres. We've created this page as a hub for our friends to enjoy fun, interesting and information chat about our wines, events and other musings we'd like to share. Join us this Saturday 10 October to celebrate the start of another season, with live music, delicious food and plenty of Fowles favourites straight from the kitchen.

Gather your crew, grab a shady picnic table or stretch out on the lawn for an afternoon of good food, great w**e and relaxed tunes. 🍷☀️

Open weekends, 11:30am–4:30pm, throughout the warmer months.

Friday nights are back! 🍷🌿

As the days get longer and the evenings warm up, it’s a pretty good time to settle in for a long, relaxed dinners overlooking the Strathbogie Ranges.

From 5pm every Friday during daylight savings, we’ll be open for dinner serving our full farm-to-table menu!

The BatNav Project is back up and running! 🦇

A handful of our recording devices survived the fires and have now been reinstalled, so we can start listening for microbat activity again.

There’s still very little research into how microbat populations respond after fire, which makes this next stage especially exciting.

While we don’t have the vineyards we once did, we’re hopeful this work can grow into something that helps farms everywhere use microbats as a natural form of pest control.

Plenty to learn, and plenty to be excited about! 🙌

This one has arrived a little sooner than expected. Because some stories can't wait for next vintage.

Each year, we capture the heroine of our Ladies who Shoot their Lunch w**es on a new adventure, creating a limited-edition artwork that becomes part of the story of the range.

The 2026 release carries a deeper story.

After bushfires swept through our Strathbogie Ranges vineyards, the landscape that has shaped our w**es for decades was forever changed. While the vines were lost, our deep respect for the land, and its remarkable ability to recover, remains stronger than ever.

Set against the fire-scarred landscape, our Lady moves forward gracefully. Flames rise behind her, not as destruction, but as transformation. There is strength in her stride, a sense of purpose in what lies ahead and an unwavering endurance. This art is a symbol of resilience, renewal and the determination to begin again.

She stands fiercely, yet with poise, embodying everything Ladies who Shoot their Lunch represents: strength, elegance and resilience.

Winter in the Strathbogie Ranges brings plenty of crisp mornings, and even a blanket of frost across the land sometimes!

Against the backdrop of green regrowth, these cool mornings are a beautiful reminder of just how much has changed. New lambs are arriving, tucked in close to their mums for warmth, while the land continues to slowly heal. 🐑🌿
