Well it’s that time of year again already, I’m heading back to work… I’m just now finishing up the last of the breakers and will still have a few horses in work but keeping my numbers very low.

That being said we can take on horses for handling, dads been doing a lot of weanling handling of Late and getting great results.
He’s happy to pick up (conditions apply) and handle ideally just young horses.

It’s been a massive season for breaking in, seen a huge turnover of horses for most disciplines, but my love still lies with the race horses, I love watching them progress and become winners on the race track, and if they don’t my gates are always open to find them new homes once retired!

Im back, and we are ticking along! While we haven’t been able to collect any of the breakers that are booked in (due to Covid restrictions) it’s given me time to work on a few off the trackers in the back paddocks waiting to find their new homes.
With restrictions due to ease shortly, hopefully we can start the long list of breakers we have waiting. (We are still accepting horses arriving on professional transport companies)

But if you are looking for your new best friend please don’t hesitate to touch base, as we have a few nice horses who will be look for new homes soon!

This is a beautiful horse that I just sold sadly got very sick on the transport truck on the way up, each day he’s able to stay in the Newcastle equine centre better his chances, but his new owner is sadly struggling to find the funds. This horse is so special to me and his new owner is an amazing woman who’s already gone above and beyond for him, every little bit would be appreciated more than you can ever know, and even just Sharing his story will help him so much!

I know I’m not very active on our social pages! And I am sorry! But the horses just keep coming and coming! We are full to the brim, and until we expand I can’t even squeeze any more in! Don’t worry all you guys already booked in are fine! But just putting it out there we are definitely still operating and are full steam ahead! Today “Tonto” had his off property experience, to say he exceeded my expectations would be an understatement! Really enjoying this little horse! This is roughly ride 7!
Can you really call this work? This ride had 3 very sensible retired racehorses out with us to keep Tonto feeling safe! Including a 4yo, who was pulled out of the paddock just for this ride 😳 impressed with everyone today! But baby Tonto you got a gold star that’s for sure!

Not a lot of time for social media of late! But yes we are still operating!
My “off the track” rehoming business “second chance horses” is taking up majority of our time, but yes we are definitely still breaking in, and looking to expand to offer “pre training in the new year”
We have a few upgrades that are in progress or planned for the new year! Then look out!
Pictured are two of our current breakers having first rides, “Bonnie and Tonto” both unknown breeding but both lovely little horses! Both rescues by two different owners, what diamonds in the rough both of them!

Chikka has been here for a one week refresher almost two years after being broken in! I have had a blast! And it’s time for him to start the lookout for a human who may want to play with him for a while. Free lease/ to buy
