🏆 Best Queensland Red Wine – 2025 Barbera (Cairns Show Wine Awards 2026)

What makes this especially meaningful is our back-to-back Best Queensland Wine success at the Royal Queensland Awards, following our 2024 Nero d'Avola's win at the 2025 Royal Queensland Awards. To take out the title two years in a row is an incredible honour.

As a family-owned, estate-grown winery, we're incredibly proud of what our small team has achieved. Every vine, every vintage, and every bottle represents years of hard work, and we're honoured to see that recognised.

Our 2025 Chardonnay was awarded Best Queensland White Wine, while our 2025 Barbera took home Best Queensland Red Wine — a remarkable achievement that celebrates the quality of the Granite Belt and the dedication behind every bottle.

From vineyard to glass, these wines reflect a vintage of exceptional character, balance and flavour. We’re incredibly proud to see them recognised among the very best wines in Queensland in amongst a field of wines from across the country.

Bright, vibrant, youthfully zesty, loaded with red cherry and dark raspberry, violets and orange rind, with a hint of harmonising savoury spice on the nose. Medium-bodied, crunchy yet beautifully polished with high acidity and fine drying tannins on the palate. There’s a wonderful depth of crunchy red and purple berry fruit and a delicate thread savoury spice and earthy nuance on display. The varietal hallmarks are crystal clear. T’is such a good example 👌🏼🍷
