Break ins and theft are a constant threat to council owned facilities. They can cause major disruption to council operations and directly impact the public by delaying access to essential services and facilities.

Council assets are often either heavily used or completely isolated, which means they demand a different and strategic security approach.

Councils must move beyond box ticking and adopt security solutions that reflect modern trends, proven operational capability, and the realities of today’s risks. Community assets deserve proper security that keeps them safe, accessible, and reliable for everyone.

POST UPDATE (01/09) - The toilets are now open for use.

🚫The Werribee Vale Road public toilets in Bacchus Marsh are currently closed and not operational.

🚽This is due to copper piping being stolen from the toilets, which needs to be reinstated as soon as possible.

It is expected the toilets will be closed for the remainder of this week. We will update this post when it reopens.
