This year, as we come to the close of the 2026 financial year, the Cooke and Foley team have an extra reason to celebrate! We are celebrating the 80th birthday of the firm, which started back in 1946. The team celebrated last Friday night to mark the occasion, and to reflect on the achievement. We are very proud of our Ballarat heritage and honoured to have served the Ballarat and surrounding community for such an extended period of time. In 1946 Jim Cooke had a vision of establishing a firm that was tied to the community, a vision that was shared by Kevin Foley. Both were keen activists in various local social and sporting groups and thus, the firm became a staple in the community. This vision has been upheld to the present day, with the entire Cooke & Foley team involved in numerous local networks. There have been 11 Directors of the firm across the 80 year period, along with some amazing staff, some with tenures of almost 40 years. We would like to extend a very large thankyou to our valued clients, we genuinely love working with you each day and we hope to continue doing so for another 80 years!
