Few before and afters of this job, whole brick veneer front of the old house was failing and about to collapse.

Bricks removed, house and floor propped up new footings installed, new framing with a charred hardwood cladding with hidden fixings and colour matched flashings.

Removal of bullnose verandah and reframing the whole front of this property to extend the depth of the garage. Removal of brickwork either side of the old door to also widen the width of the garage and generate a tilt panel door with an extra width opening of about 600mm more than original. All cladded with cement sheet for a modern look and longevity.

Always a very satisfying job working on an old heritage home leaving it as original as possible, as it was built many years ago.

On our bullnose verandah rebuilds - we always add additional rafters and a row of noggins through the middle for additional roof screws.

This one in particular had an additional kick in the rafters as shown in the photo up the top and is a rare feature that sets the front of this place off ✅✅✅
