We are locally owned and operated, with our training centre located in Ballarat Servicing Victoria, First Aid Training Group aims to provide an exceptionally high standard of hands-on, interactive, meaningful and most importantly confidence-boosting training to all of our participants. Training is facilitated exclusively by industry professionals, all with years of real-life experience such as Paramedics, Fire Fighters, Emergency First Responders and Nurses. We conduct regular courses in all levels of first aid for all groups and often customise training to suit the needs of our clients. We employ a very different approach to training through highly interactive blended styles. Our courses captivate and empower participants through confidence-building coaching from start to finish. First Aid Training group will be now running sessions every two months to the public for the nationally recognised courses in first aid management of anaphylaxis and management of asthma, both courses go for 2 hours each.

*Please note HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid does cover both anaphylaxis and asthma these courses are for people needing more in-depth knowledge and training on these topics.

One Foot Forward 2026

When 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health issue every year, and over 3000 people will die by su***de, this strikes home for everyone in Australia.

At First Aid Training Group, we strongly believe in support for those experiencing mental health issues.

Our own Apply First Aid for Mental Health course aims to give everyday people the skills to begin important conversations.

In support of Mental Health Month, the team at First Aid Training Group will be joining the One Foot Forward fundraising event. We will be walking every day to help the Black Dog Institute fund research and advocacy. It will also promote our physical and mental wellbeing by getting us into a fun daily routine of exercise.

Did you know the quicker you can get a defibrillator onto a person who is having a cardiac arrest, the higher rate is for survival? October is Shocktober month and we want people to be confident in how to use a defib if needed, any CPR/First aid class that is booked in October will receive a $20 discount per person!
