AI can fill in your details. It can't invent the law.
You've got ChatGPT open, so why pay for handyperson terms? Fair question.
Here's the catch. Ask AI to write your contract from scratch and it doesn't know current Australian Consumer Law, it doesn't know the PPSA, and it doesn't know what happens when a customer says "that wasn't included." You get something that reads well and folds the moment you actually need it. And you won't spot the gap while you're writing it. You'll spot it mid-dispute, when the clause you needed isn't there.
The smart way to use AI isn't to invent your legal terms. It's to customise terms that are already right. That's why our Handyperson Terms and Conditions come with a built-in AI prompt: the legal wording is done by a lawyer and a tradie, and AI just slots in your business details, safely.

(And yes, an AI helped write this post. It's great at that. It's just not the one you want writing your contract.)
