ELECTRICAL TRADES ASSISTANTS REQUIRED - FIFO PERTH
Scope of work
Clough and Saipem, in an equally shared (50/50) joint venture, are delivering the engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning for Perdaman Industries' Urea Plant Project, a latest-generation fertiliser plant with a capacity of 2.14 million tonnes of urea per year
The plant is part of a landmark project for Western Australia, generating on average 2,000 jobs during the construction phase and approximately 200 permanent jobs during the operational phase. The joint venture and Perdaman’s commitment to make a positive impact in the community are aligned, and a key aspect during the construction phase is to engage with the Indigenous and local communities through career, training and business opportunities ensuring long lasting social benefits

Project Ceres (Perdaman)
Delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities
Your role will include:
• Installation and removal of temporary and permanent electrical equipment as instructed
• Cable installation using mechanical aid - Both above and underground
• Underground Earthing installations, cad welds & associated testing requirements
• Installation and Fabrication of Steel Conduit, Instrument Tray, Cable Ladder and their required supports
• Termination and Glanding of SWA cables and equipment in a Hazardous Area
• Installation of all site-wide Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication equipment
• Installation of Electrical Apparatus in areas such as but not limited to, Substations, Instrument Rooms, Local Equipment Rooms and vendor package equipment
• Following work packs, procedures, and site instructions to execute tasks safely and accurately
• Completing Inspection & Test Records (ITRs) and closing out Punch List Items (PLI's)
What you will bring to the team (DESIREABLE):
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale Industrial
• Construction Projects (Oil & Gas - preferred)
• Current CPR / LVR certification
• Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (highly regarded)
• HRWL - EWP
• Work Safely at Heights

Clough Projects – Perdaman Ceres Project Greenfields Agreement
• (March and April Starts Available):
Project Hours:
70-hour week (10 hours per day, Monday to Sunday)
Roster: 20 days on / 8 days off
10-Hr Day Pay Breakdown (Mon–Fri):
• 7.2 hours (Ordinary Rate)
• 2.0 hours (Time and a Half Rate)
• 0.8 hours (Accrued towards RDO)
10-Hr Day Pay Breakdown (Saturday):
• 2.0 hours (Time and a Half)
• 8.0 hours (Double Time)
10-Hr Day Pay Breakdown (Sunday):
• 10.0 hours (Double Time)
Electrical Trade Assistant – Pay Breakdown
Hourly Pay Components (All-Purpose)
• CW1 Base Rate: $43.70/hr
Site Allowance (all employees on site): $5.40/hr
Electrical Trades Assistant Allowance (all-purpose): $1.17/hr
20 Days On / 8 Days Off Roster Calculation
- The agreement structures work as:
• 70 hours per week over a 3-week cycle
= 210 hours per swing
• Ordinary hours: 36 hrs/week × 3 = 108 hrs
Overtime hours: 210 − 108 = 102 hrs
