A massive thank you to Wendy Lindsay East Hills for her kind invitation to the Mother’s Day High Tea at Padstow RSL. We were honoured to be included and appreciated hearing from NSW Liberal Leader Kellie Sloane, MP. It was a wonderful event celebrating mothers, community connection, and the opportunity to catch up with friends — especially Tracy Minett Group, Councillor Jennifer Walther - Canterbury Bankstown Council Revesby Ward, Clare Little Wings, Ruth le Bas and Stephanie Le Bas.

Today, the Collappor8 team got out of the office and spent time with some of the people and places doing the real work in our community.

We caught up with Joumana from Sydney Community Connect Inc., Maria from Greenacre Area Community Centre, and visited the Greenacre Youth and Community Centre, and honestly, it’s always grounding to see the impact up close.

The care, effort and commitment that goes into supporting families, young people and the wider community doesn’t always get seen, but it’s there every day.

Also… when you’re in Greenacre, it would be rude not to stop by SeaSweet Patisserie - Australia on the way back. So naturally, we made sure our next meetings in the office were properly supported with sweets.

We’re really grateful to work alongside people like this. It’s a good reminder of why the work matters.

The team at Collappor8 will be taking a short break over the Easter holidays to rest, recharge, and (let’s be honest) enjoy a bit too much chocolate.

We will be closed over the Easter period and will reopen on Tuesday, 7 April.

Collappor8 was proud to sponsor Holi 2026 at the Shri Shiva Temple, a vibrant celebration that brought the community together in a truly joyful way.

Holi is a beautiful festival that celebrates unity, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil, and it was incredible to see families, friends, and community members come together to share in the colours, music, laughter, and culture that make this event so special.

We would especially like to thank the Board of the Shri Shiva Temple for their kind invitation and warm hospitality. Your generosity and spirit of community made the day even more meaningful for us.

Events like this remind us how powerful community connection can be. At Collappor8, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that bring people together, celebrate diversity, and strengthen the communities we serve.

On Friday evening, the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Event brought together an inspiring group of women who are leading, innovating and shaping the future of our business community.
