That is not soft.

🚩 Being treated poorly at work is not “just part of the job.”

It is not okay to be blamed for someone else’s poor leadership.

It is not okay to be gaslit, undermined, dismissed, manipulated, spoken down to, or made to feel like the problem because someone above you cannot own their behaviour.

Toxic workplaces do not always start with screaming and obvious bullying.

Sometimes they sound like:

😬 “You’re too sensitive.”
😬 “That’s not what happened.”
😬 “You must have misunderstood.”
😬 “You’re creating drama.”
😬 “Maybe you’re just not coping.”

No.

Sometimes the issue is not your resilience.

Sometimes the issue is poor leadership, weak accountability, and people in power avoiding responsibility.

Workplaces need standards.

Leaders need self-awareness.

And people deserve to feel safe, respected and valued at work.
