⚡ A 5-second safety check that could make all the difference. 👇

Over the past few weeks, we've come across a number of jobs where safety switches (RCDs) have failed their test or wouldn't reset. Most homeowners had no idea there was a problem.

Did you know every RCD (safety switch) has a "T" (Test) button?

Pressing it should instantly trip the switch and cut the power, confirming the mechanism is operating as intended.

📅 Test your safety switch once a month. It's a simple habit that helps ensure it's ready to protect you if an electrical fault occurs.

⚠️ If you press the Test button and nothing happens, or the switch won't reset, don't ignore it. Contact C.F Electrical to have it inspected by a licensed electrician. A faulty safety switch may not protect you or your family during an electrical fault.

✅ A quick self-test is a great safety habit, but it doesn't replace professional inspection and testing where required.

⚡ Commercial Switchboard Changeover Completed ⚡

Another successful project delivered by C.F Electrical!

Over the weekend, our team completed a major commercial switchboard upgrade, replacing an outdated switchboard with a custom-designed solution built to meet the client's current requirements and future expansion needs.

To minimize disruption, the changeover was completed during a scheduled shutdown, with a temporary generator keeping the cool rooms operational and protecting valuable stock throughout the works.
