Today the Branch Committee were very pleased to present The Bathurst RSL Club and builder Murray Arnold from Oakbank Constructions with our Monthly Heritage Award for their sensitive and respectful restoration and repair of 241 Russell Street. The building has been completely re- roofed with repairs to foundations, interior plaster walls and exterior features. The Branch committee were particularly impressed with the care and attention to detail that has gone into the buildings renewal. Congratulations to all involved and especially to Counillor Kirralee Burke for presenting these awards on behalf of the Council and the Branch. Accepting on behalf of the RSL were CEO Peter Sargent, Vice President Ron Hallebone and Director Les Anderson.
