🚀 BNI Universe | A New Chapter Begins

New leadership. Same Universe. Big opportunities. 🌎🚀

A special Tuesday morning at BNI Universe as we welcome our new Chapter Leadership Team:

❤️ Deb Fay
❤️ Fiona Mary Berry
❤️ Des Derham

Congratulations to our new leaders as they step up to serve, support and help our chapter grow.

And what better way to start the new term than hearing from Des as today’s Feature Presenter. 👏

BNI is built on more than exchanging business cards. It’s about learning what our members do, building genuine relationships and developing enough trust to confidently open doors for one another. That fits BNI’s stated mission of helping members grow through a structured referral program and long-term professional relationships.

A big thank you to our outgoing leadership team for everything invested into our chapter, and congratulations to Deb, Fiona and Des as they take BNI Universe into its next season.

Here’s to more relationships, more referrals and more green across the Universe. 💚🚀

BNI Universe Recap: Running Solo as a Business Owner? 🚀

This morning was extra special at BNI Universe, with our BNI Regional Executive Director Rebecca Raad, as our Feature Presenter.

Rebecca said something that really resonated:

Running a small business can feel lonely.

At BNI Universe, we sometimes joke that running a business is like being an astronaut, flying your own mission.

But astronauts never really fly alone. Behind every mission is a whole support crew.

That’s what BNI can be.

Every Tuesday, we come together to brag, complain and plan 😆.

We listen, learn about each other’s businesses, support each other and look for opportunities to refer.

Then we head back out to fly our own missions.

You may run your business solo. But you don’t have to do business alone. 🚀

Accountability means doing what you said you would do.

It builds trust, strengthens relationships and makes referrals easier to give with confidence.

This week, Accountability was also the favourite BNI value shared by our Feature Presenter Bruno.

Another great Tuesday morning at BNI Universe, with Feature Presenters Bruno from Smart Choice Property and Mo Shouman from My Wealth Choice.

🎤 Congratulations to Fiona Mary Berry, our Golden Mic winner.

🚀 And a warm welcome to our newest member, Paul Johnson, Commercial Finance Broker.

We’ll introduce Paul, Bruno and Mo properly in their own posts. They deserve more than one paragraph. 😆

We learn together, refer generously and hold each other accountable.

We can’t run your mission for you. But we can be a pretty good support crew. 🚀

The best business owners never stop learning. 🚀

At BNI Universe, we don’t just exchange referrals. We learn about each other’s businesses, share knowledge, build trust and become better referral partners.

Because the better we know each other, the better the opportunities we can create for each other.

Learn. Connect. Grow. Together.
