The machines might carry our logo.

But it's our people who keep the job moving.

Every successful project is backed by a team that prepares, coordinates, supports and solves problems long before the machine reaches site.

They turn up, back each other and get the job done - day in, day out.

Their knowledge is what turns a project scope into a machine package that works first time.

Night works demand careful planning, clear communication and equipment that performs when it's needed.

With reduced visibility and tightly coordinated work windows, every part of the operation needs to work together to keep crews working safely and productively.

When work windows are measured in hours, equipment reliability becomes part of project planning.

On the North East Link EBTA project, crane pads and piling pads needed to be graded to precise levels inside a highly confined work area.
A conventional grader with machine control simply wouldn’t fit.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁
Restricted work area
Precise grading tolerances
Programme pressure
Manual grading methods slowing production

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱
Cat 259D3 Posi-Track Loader
Cat BB124 Box Blade
Trimble Earthworks GO! dual-grade laser system

The compact laser-controlled setup allowed accurate grading of flat and sloped pads in conditions where larger conventional grading equipment was unsuitable.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱
Reduced reliance on manual trimming and survey crews
Maintained productivity in confined conditions
More cost-effective than larger GPS or UTS systems
Configured and tested before delivery

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲
140 machine hours over 5 weeks
98% uptime achieved
One breakdown resolved onsite within 2.5 hours
Zero compliance events

This is what happens when the machine, attachment, and control system are specified around the actual site constraint - not adapted to it.

The right package isn't chosen because it's available.

It's specified around the ground conditions, production targets, site constraints and the work that needs to be completed.

That's where specialist capability makes the difference.

We collaborate across project, operations, engineering and safety teams to configure machine and attachment packages for the application - not adapt them once they arrive onsite.

The result is equipment that arrives Ready to Dig. Configured. Compliant. Ready to perform.

Because on complex infrastructure projects, the right specification from day one helps avoid delays, reduces rework and keeps production moving.

Restricted visibility, diesel emissions, airborne dust, confined operating areas and limited evacuation routes all influence how mobile plant must be configured for tunnelling work.

Australian tunnelling guidance specifically identifies air quality, ventilation and plant interaction as critical risks that must be controlled underground.

This machine was prepared for the tunnel environment with project-specific safety features, including a clearly projected exclusion zone to improve plant visibility and improve plant to person awareness in confined underground environments.

It is one part of a broader tunnel-ready configuration that can include HEPA cabin filtration, fire suppression and additional lighting - matched to the machine, site and scope.

Because underground, safety cannot be treated as an optional add-on.
It must be built into the setup.

28/07/2026

A machine can arrive onsite and still not be ready for the work ahead.

Performance depends on what happens before delivery - confirming the scope, matching the machine and attachments, setting hydraulic flows and pressures, testing the configuration and preparing a clear operator handover.

These steps confirm the package is configured for the operating conditions before work begins.

Because readiness is not measured by whether the machine reaches site.

It is measured by how well the complete setup performs once work begins.

Moving Australia's major infrastructure projects starts long before the first bucket hits the ground.

Every delivery needs to arrive on time, correctly configured and ready to work.

Whether it is a single excavator or a coordinated fleet mobilisation, our operations team works alongside our own transport fleet and trusted transport partners to ensure equipment reaches site prepared for the scope ahead - helping contractors avoid delays and keep critical programmes moving.

Because on complex infrastructure projects, reliability is not just about the machine.

It is about every step that gets it there.

𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱. 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿. 𝗡𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗲.

At Kananook Stabling Yard in Seaford, drilling works were being undertaken in highly unstable ground conditions within an active rail environment.

This wasn’t a standard auger application.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁
Soft swamp, clay and sand deposits
Risk of drilled hole collapse during piling
Steel casings up to 1200mm diameter and 6m long required prior to drilling
Live rail corridor compliance requirements
PileSafe and 3D Safety inductions needed before mobilisation

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱
25T Sumitomo SH235X-6 excavator
PD50-7 Auger Drive package
750mm to 1200mm augers and extensions
EMV attachment for steel casing installation

The EMV configuration allowed steel casings to be installed ahead of drilling, stabilising the excavation and maintaining hole integrity in the unstable ground conditions.

Before delivery, the complete package was commissioned, tested and inducted to site requirements under our Ready to Dig approach.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁
100% uptime achieved
Zero breakdown events
Programme requirements met
Zero compliance events recorded

Because on rail infrastructure projects, specialist attachment configuration and compliance preparation happen long before drilling starts.

On major infrastructure projects, progress often depends on equipment being able to perform within tight access, difficult ground conditions and demanding construction programmes.

Here, a compact track loader is working alongside an excavator in a constrained excavation zone - supporting material movement, site preparation and production where space is limited.

It is a practical example of the right equipment combination delivering where it matters: onsite, in production and aligned with the work ahead.

Ready to Dig means the work is done before the machine reaches site.

Configured.
Pre-checked.
Documented.
Site-compliant.

Because on major infrastructure projects like this, a delay is never just a delay.

It affects sequencing, crews, access windows and productivity across site.

No setup delays.
No compliance gaps.
No unnecessary downtime.
Ready to perform from the moment it lands.
