The annual Beechworth W**e Region Spring Tasting is just around the corner! So in celebration, we’ve had a rummage around the cellar and put together a proper little mixed bag. Six bottles. Six different reasons to crack one open.

🍷 2024 Chardonnay
🍷 2025 Riesling — normally cellar door only. Sneaky.
🥂 2022 Blanc de Blanc Méthode Traditionelle — the last bottles. Once they’re gone, that’s it.
🍷 2024 Sangiovese — because spring and Italian varieties go alright together.
🍷 2022 Shiraz — previous vintage. Found a few, so in they go.
🍷 2023 Shiraz — because apparently two Shiraz is better than one.

And let’s be honest, this is a pretty handy six-pack to have sitting around when you’ve got a bit of homemade salami on the go...
The Sangiovese with the salami is a no-brainer. The Shiraz can handle the serious stuff. The Chardonnay and Riesling are there when you want something a bit fresher — particularly if there’s cheese, bread and someone who’s already had a few slices before lunch.

A few sneaky bottles, a few old favourites, some homemade salami on the side — sounds like spring to us. It’s basically a Baarmutha cellar door experience in a box, minus the trip up the hill. See the link in bio for more 🤙🏻

In late June, we officially released our 2023 Beechworth Shiraz. She’s bright, perfumed and full of energy. A kinder vintage that’s drinking beautifully already.

To mark this new release, we've curated a special pack, where alongside, I’ve paired the 2022 Shiraz. A w**e that’s had another year to settle into itself, and one that’s now sold out... unless you happen to visit the cellar door, where we've squirrelled away a few bottles.

Six bottles of each. Two vintages. All sourced from Beechworth dirt. And because we're feeling generous, we'll make two bottles (one of each vintage) on the house, for those grabbing the mixed dozen. Which is a nice little saving ~ a couple of bonus bottles, and the perfect excuse to spend a few evenings deciding which vintage you like best (there’s no wrong answer). We hope you enjoy!

They weren’t meant to hang around… and they haven’t.

Same vineyard. Two very different personalities.
2022’s had a bit of time to think about things. 2024’s still loud, fresh, and reckons it knows better. Crack them side by side and settle it properly.

Small batch, all hand-picked, made by our small team, up here in Beechworth, nothing fancy, just good fruit and a bit of patience. Once these disappear, that’s it — no secret stash!
