It is with sadness we advise that Mitch Fagan will be leaving his position of NSW Drilling Manager today to pursue other career goals.

Since Mitch commenced with VLI Drilling as a cleanskin offsider back in October 2008, he has done an excellent job in developing and growing his skills into becoming one of our most valued senior team members.

He has been a part of our Senior Management team for the past 7 years, and in what have at times been a challenging environment, Mitch has always led from the front, being one of the most dedicated workers we have had the pleasure to work alongside.

Mitch has accepted a position closer to home, and we wish him and his family every success as he embarks on the next phase of his mining career.

Please join me in thanking Mitch for his contributions and wish him all the very best in the future.

VLI Drilling's tradition of Father / Son employment continues, with our Global Technical Services Manager Frank Hungerford's son, Daniel, completing his first day underground yesterday.

Daniel is currently studying Architectural Engineering at Wollongong University, and will work for VLI at our Tahmoor Drilling project in between his schooling commitments.

Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking experienced Directional Drillers to join our team, for an immediate start in the Queensland and NSW South Coast regions.

Essential Criteria:
• Minimum of 12 months underground drilling experience
• Hold a current coal board medical; or be able to pass a coal board medical
• Have a current generic underground induction (S11 for QLD)
• Current drivers licence
• Excellent safety record and commitment in all areas of WHS
• Ability to work on varied rosters and shift structures
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Proven ability to work as part of a team

QUEENSLAND MECHANICAL TRADESPERSON / DRILL ASSISTANT - IMMEDIATE START

VLI Drilling provide specialised underground drilling services to the Australian coal industry.

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team for an immediate start in Queensland's Bowen Basin coal region.

This role involves maintaining VLI Drill Rigs and associated equipment. At times the role may require the candidate to undertake drill operator assistance (drill offsiding).

VLI offers the following:

• Hold a DES accreditation (Desirable but not essential)
• Hold, or be able to undertake a QLD Medical
• Hold a current Driver's License
• Have the ability to work on varied roster and shift structures
• Demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills
