PROTECTING LOCAL BIODIVERSITY
Out in the field today with Vegetation Manager Hamish, identifying the problematic Madeira Vine for future removal. AKA Anredera cordifolia, Madeira Vine is one of Australia’s most aggressively smothering weeds and can climb more than 20 metres, forming thick, heavy mats that choke native vegetation and collapse tree canopies if left unchecked. Its tubers can survive for years in the soil, making early and consistent control essential.
