One month in and already getting stuck into it!

Jake has hit the ground running since joining the team as a Trainee Fire Suppression Technician, getting involved in kit builds and learning the ins and outs of fire suppression systems. With a background across kitchen fitting, transport, biological R&D and even software development, he’s bringing a great mix of skills and picking things up quickly.

One thing that’s stood out straight away is the team. Coming from a work-from-home role, it’s been a great change being around people and part of a hands-on, supportive crew — and he’s settled in really well.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Jake camping, off-roading or fishing, or helping someone out if they need a hand. And a random one… he’s actually one of only 16 Carpigiani ice cream professionals back home.

Next up, he’s keen to get out on the road and into installations — watch this space.
