De Bortoli Wines Bilbul Cellar Door Our story is one of determination and triumph that started in 1928 Fifty years ago customers purchased their wine in bulk, in wooden barrels or demijohns.

The Bilbul Cellar Door in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales is the original De Bortoli winery established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. Today Bilbul is home to some of Australia's most prestigious wines including the acclaimed Noble One, one of the world's most highly awarded and sought after wines.

The Cellar Door team recently spent time with winemaker Roberto, expanding our knowledge of De Bortoli’s exceptional fortified range so we can continue providing our customers with an informed and memorable tasting experience.

From our Muscat Aperitif and Classic Muscat to the award-winning Show Liqueur Muscat, Fine Tawny – 8 Years Old, Old Boys – 21 Year Barrel Aged Tawny, and the exquisite Black Noble, it was a fantastic tasting experience.
