This week, the AMA team travelled to Rocky for Meet the Buyer, a Queensland Government initiative bringing businesses and organisations together for direct conversations with potential clients.

This was a great opportunity to put faces to names, build new relationships and open the door to future partnerships, which we're very excited to explore over the next few months.

On many mining and maintenance projects, abrasive blasting is used to strip away rust, old coatings and contaminants, creating a clean surface ready for repairs or a fresh protective coating. It's a critical step in extending the life of equipment and steel structures.

Just how important is a blast and paint? See the results for yourself!

Surfaces of machinery need to be regularly cleaned with abrasive blasting to remove old paint and rust before new paint can be applied or a protective coating can be added. This surface needed a serious makeover, and with a quick blast it's shiny and good as new!
