Another very large (1004 mm x 2014 mm) canvas and "diptych" painting by Krim Benterak.
Such are a challenge for Zac to encase in a floater frame but it is more of a challenge possibly for him to transport and deliver to the purchaser once completed !

Something a little different - agate slices from Brazil

Originally purchased to make wind chimes, that was done at the time some years ago, and the remaining "slices" we put in a bottom draw for another day,...and found again recently !

The owner has an artistic flair and with a hint of colour in keeping with colourings of the stones this presentation was the outcome.

A deep moulding chosen with a white top border and natural sides completes the project with a clear acrylic panel for glazing need.

NOTE WELL - Sun spot glare / reflection at the bottom in right hand corner when photograph taken.

It is 121 sleeps until Christmas Day 2026 - who is counting though!! 🤣🤣
This counted cross stitch embroidery will adorn a wall sooner than most would like unless you were maybe 5 or 6 years of age.

Chosen moulding as well as matboard, not in "traditional" Christmas colours, though blends well with the colourings of the completed subjects.

Stylish and simplistic moulding (frame) with a bold colour chosen for the matboard, that ensures your eye is drawn to the detailed stitching.

A cross stitch project in muted colours, possibly a "runner" for dining table or even a dresser / sideboard with dense fringing at each end.
The history of the actual piece was unknown to the family member who requested this to be framed.
Floated on conservation matboard and acrylic panel for glazing need with a sleek moulding (frame) completed the project

Zac was approached in mid 2024 to take on a teaching role with the Council of Adult Education in Melbourne CBD, for the offered short course in picture framing.
He did ponder for a considerable time before accepting this position and trundled off to the first session with much trepidation.
After a settling couple of sessions Zac is SO VERY pleased to have said yes in taking on this role as he enjoys immensely and gains much self satisfaction.
A short article in a recent publication of the staff newsletter gave an excellent review and this reinforced he made the right decision !
