📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE | SKILLED VISA INCOME THRESHOLDS INCREASED 🇦🇺

Planning to apply for an employer-sponsored skilled visa in Australia? Here's an important update you need to know.

Effective 1 July 2026, the Australian Government has increased the income thresholds for employer-sponsored skilled visa programs as part of its annual indexation.

The updated income thresholds apply to:
✔️ Skills in Demand (SID) Visa
✔️ Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186)
✔️ Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) and other eligible employer-sponsored visa programs

What does this mean for you?
📌 New nomination applications lodged on or after 1 July 2026 must meet the updated income thresholds.
📌 Applications lodged before 1 July 2026, as well as existing visa holders, are generally not affected by these changes.

If you're planning to work or migrate to Australia through an employer-sponsored pathway, now is the perfect time to understand how these changes may affect your application.

Our experienced migration team at Australian Migration Settlement & Employment Solutions (AMSES) is here to provide professional advice and guide you through every step of your visa journey.
