A carefully curated and beautifully styled market stall can really draw in customers and boost sales on market day - but where do you start when you want to take your retail strategy to the next level?

We are very fortunate to have a commercial designer and stylist with more than 20 years retail experience living here in Boggabri - Carol from Carolb Boggabri and Folkologie Boggabri - who will be taking the lead styling our markets this year.

There are moments in life where you realise just how much can change in a few short years.

This week I returned to in Rylstone to collect the last of our shop fixtures and fittings, for those who may not know this is the store Kym & I started in 2018.

Emily (new owner) has been so incredibly kind in caring for them whilst I was navigating breast cancer treatment and finding my feet in a new town and a new home.

When Emily bought the shop she was rebuilding her life. Now she has a new baby, a new partner, and a thriving store that reflects her completely.

Seeing how far we’ve both come was incredibly grounding.

It felt like such a full-circle moment for both of us — two women who have weathered big seasons of change, now standing in new chapters.

Grateful. Proud. And ready for what’s next 🤍 😂
