How well do you know the PBN Committee members?
The PBN Committee is a dedicated team of volunteers who generously give their time to keep PBN thriving. Together, we create great events in wonderful local venues, with connection, collaboration and community at the heart of everything we do.

Meet Eric - Membership Insights πŸ’™πŸ§‘

πŸ’¬ Q: Why did you first join Peninsula Business Networking?
A: I first joined PBN in 2020 to meet and engage with local small business owners.

🀝 Q: Why do you continue to invest your time in PBN, and what keeps you coming back?
A: As well as making some great friends, I find PBN to be a welcoming, relaxed and helpful environment where members genuinely try and assist each other in building their businesses.

🌟 Q: Can you share a memorable connection, opportunity or experience you've had through PBN?
A: I have a nephew who was going through some tough times and was seeking employment in a welding trade. I mentioned this at a PBN event and a fellow member immediately contacted me. He subsequently offered my nephew a job which he gratefully accepted and which resulted in a hugely positive step forward for my nephew.

Eric owns Tickehost - the platform we use to book our event tickets.

How well do you know the PBN Committee members?
Our committee is a dedicated team of eight volunteers who generously give their time to keep PBN thriving. Together, we organise great events at wonderful local venues, with connection, collaboration and community at the heart of everything we do.

Over the coming weeks, we'd love you to get to know them a little better.

Meet Boris, our Vice President πŸ’™πŸ§‘

πŸ’¬ Q: Why did you first join Peninsula Business Networking?
A: I joined PBN to connect with like-minded business owners and professionals who genuinely value relationships and supporting one another in the Peninsula region. I was looking for a network built on trust, collaboration and helping businesses grow together, and PBN stood out as low-key straight-shooting organisation.

🀝 Q: Why do you continue to invest your time in PBN, and what keeps you coming back?
A: The people. PBN is much more than a networking group - it's a community of business owners who are committed to each other's success. As both a member and now Vice President, I enjoy helping foster those connections, creating opportunities for members, and seeing businesses grow through trusted referrals and collaboration. The willingness of members to help each other, without expectation, is what makes PBN so special.

🌟 Q: Can you share a memorable connection, opportunity or experience you've had through PBN?
A: There have been many, but what stands out most is seeing relationships develop into genuine friendships and long-term business partnerships. Through PBN I've been able to connect clients with trusted professionals who have made a real difference to their businesses and personal lives. Knowing that those introductions create value beyond just business is incredibly rewarding, and it's one of the reasons I'm passionate about being involved with PBN. When one of our members recently needed help several of us joined together and delivered prompt solution to the problem, WIN - WIN outcome!

Boris is owner of BT Corporate Advisory Pty Ltd.

Meet Stephanie, our Events Coordinator πŸ’™πŸ§‘
πŸ’¬ Q: Why did you first join Peninsula Business Networking?
A: I first joined PBN to broaden my network and get to know more local business owners here on the wonderful Mornington Peninsula.
🀝 Q: Why do you continue to invest your time in PBN, and what keeps you coming back?
A: I keep coming back because the people in this group are friendly, approachable, genuine business owners who truly have the local business community at heart.
🌟 Q: Can you share a memorable connection, opportunity or experience you've had through PBN?
A: One that stands out is the Foodie Showcase we hosted last year, where our wonderful suppliers and food-craft producers had a platform to share their stories and their passion. It was a real privilege to appreciate, support and celebrate them as a collective.

Meet Gail, our Membership Coordinator πŸ’™πŸ§‘

A: A friend with a small business suggested I join as I was about to launch an app to support small businesses in the creative area.

SPEED NETWORKING EVENT last night was a fantastic gathering of enthusiastic members and lots of potential new members. Bonus was presenting our cheque for $2,000 to Fusion in support of their homelessness prevention program. Safety Beach Sailing Club is one of our most popular venues and for good reason.

First up, meet Katrina, our Treasurer πŸ’™πŸ§‘

πŸ’¬ Q: Why did you first join Peninsula Business Networking?
A: I joined PBN when I felt a need to meet like-minded small business owners. I was working alone in a home office and wanted conversations with others who "get" a business owner's existence, as many friends and family don't.

🀝 Q: Why do you continue to invest your time in PBN, and what keeps you coming back?
A: I keep coming back for the relationships being built and the surprise of who you may meet each month.

🌟 Q: Can you share a memorable connection, opportunity or experience you've had through PBN?
A: PBN introduces me to a variety of businesses, and each month I make a new connection. It also gives me a safe space to do small amounts of public speaking.

Katrina is a Business Profit Coach and Bookkeeper Mentor. @
