Please get behind Sam and her efforts to protect Australian Small Businesses against Chargeback fraud.

The issue is:

Australian small businesses are being crippled by a broken chargeback system.

Right now, customers can dispute payments months after receiving goods or services - and banks routinely reverse funds without proper investigation, often without even contacting the business first.

This practice enables chargeback fraud (also known as “friendly fraud”) and places the entire financial burden on small businesses - even when they have proof of delivery, tracking, customer communication, and a clean transaction history.

Every single day, another Australian small business contacts me after being hit with a chargeback.

This is not just retail - it’s affecting businesses across every industry.

Chargeback fraud is crippling small businesses, and the system is failing to protect us.

After speaking with the Federal Minister for Small Business today, I was advised to gather signatures to take this issue to Parliament.

The new Q&A sign has arrived in time for the Boort Show on Sat 11th October! We will be set up and available to answer business questions between 9-3 on the day.
