VERST Fire Services as a business has operated since March 1999 providing cost effective high quality fire protection equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance servicing and building emergency training to communities across Victoria, Southern NSW and Northern Tasmania. VERST Fire Services is an Australian owned company providing the complete range of Fire Services to Melbourne metropolitan areas, regional Victoria, Southern NSW and Tasmania. Our head office is based in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Our regional offices are located in Wangaratta, Mansfield, Sale and Traralgon. Our team in Wangaratta and Mansfield branches service the Northern half of Victoria and Southern NSW and employs local members of the community. Our team in the Gippsland regional branches service the Latrobe Valley and as far East as Bairnsdale. We work in conjunction with Site and Occupational Health & Safety “OH&S” Managers to ensure that inspection, testing and preventative maintenance of Fire & Life Safety Essential Services is systematically planned, implemented and maintained, thereby protecting life, assets and productivity. With the aid of our Web Based Service Management System simPRO, we are able to service your needs and leave you assured that all your essential services requirements are being met. Through simPRO we can develop and produce client specific reports for the Essential Services Maintenance to suit the clients individual reporting requirements. We understand the requirement for a Flexible Managed Format to suit the needs of our clients. This tailored reporting system will assist in the benchmarking of Essential Services Maintenance and ensure a high level of compliance to our clients Essential Safety Measures. VERST Fire Services currently provides Essential Services Maintenance to numerous Clients and Properties, with provision of Services to a wide variety of Properties. Are Your Newly Installed Fire Protection Systems Actually Compliant?
When a new building or major refurbishment reaches completion, building owners and property managers should be able to expect that the installed fire protection systems have been completed in accordance with the approved design, Fire Engineering Report, relevant Australian Standards and applicable building requirements.

Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

At VERST Fire Services, we regularly encounter newly installed fire protection systems containing defects, incomplete works, installation inconsistencies or items that do not appear to comply with the approved design documentation or relevant Australian Standards.

These issues may not become apparent until after the building has been handed over and responsibility for maintaining the fire protection systems has transferred to the building owner.

An Independent Fire Services Review provides an opportunity to identify these issues at a critical stage of the project—ideally prior to handover or around the time of the Certificate of Final Inspection (CFI).

The Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Office Support / Administrative Assistant position based at our Wantirna South/Boronia office. This is a rewarding career opportunity with significant potential for future development within the expanding fire protection industry. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming phone calls and email distribution.
- Assisting with customer reports, quotes, and defect notifications.
- Assisting with accounts receivable, payroll and other accounts related duties
- Liaising with staff, customers, and suppliers to maintain excellent relations.
- General administration, filing, and data entry duties.

What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with the right attitude and the following skills:
- Solid PC skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
