𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 – 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪

Owners who currently pay their body corporate levies by credit card through DEFT should be aware that this option ends tomorrow.

From 1 October 2026, DEFT/Macquarie will discontinue credit card payment processing for levy payments due to changes in Australian payment regulations. As a result, credit card payments through the current DEFT platform will no longer be available from this date.

Please note:

- This is a provider-led change by DEFT/Macquarie.
- It is not a decision made by Stratacare, your Committee or your Body Corporate.
- Alternative payment methods will remain available, including BPAY, Direct Debit and Post
Billpay.
- Owners seeking cash flow flexibility may still be able to fund BPAY payments using a credit
card through their own financial institution. Chargeback rights, rewards programs and cash
advance treatment may differ between card issuers, so please check with your bank.

If you currently pay your levies by credit card, please arrange an alternative payment method as soon as possible to avoid missed payments.
