Although she was holding herself together pretty well, she did indicate during assessments and through the treatment a fair bit of discomfort in her body.

I love receiving these messages from clients….sent to me this morning following yesterday’s treatment…..my client was experiencing significant pain following an injury the week prior which affected his lower back, hip and down the back of his right leg. He was waking at night due to the pain.

I noticed during the treatment he had significant muscle atrophy in areas of his body he doesn’t usually have, especially in the area of injury plus some muscle hypertrophy where the body has been compensating due to his injury.

I have been recently introduced to lifewave patches in which I am still learning about and experimenting with.
The Icewave patches are specific for pain relief….so in this situation I deemed it appropriate for my client to wear the Icewave patches (to help relieve pain and inflammation) in conjunction with the Bowtech treatment (which will help the body heal, realign, strengthen and restore homeostasis, also relieving pain and inflammation).

It seems the combination has been a success…I will be in touch with my client during the week to see how he is going in his body and healing process.

What a day! I’ve been dreaming of attending a whole horse dissection like this for a really long time!!

All hands on deck….being fully immersed in how the entire body is put together and pathologies that come along with each individual horse. What the body reveals that the human eye is unable to see from the outside is astonishing. What these animals endure and put up with just baffles me. This horse was 26 yrs old and had a lot of discomfort in the body. The owners have been assisting with the dissection and have given some history and have also been amazed with the findings…..the behaviours described prior to today make sense.

I am so grateful to be here and to my amazing and beautiful friend who gave me her place! I have the most amazing people in my life!!!

Last nights presentation and information session with Tami Ekayam Equine Body work and Dr Shelley Appleton Calm Willing Confident Horses was very insightful.

It was lovely to see familiar faces and catch up with friends and people I have met at other clinics. We all seem to have the learning bug with a thirst for knowledge.

Looking forward to Tami’s return to Australia next year!

Just quietly…joy is…when your daughter asks you to give her a treatment because her neck is hurting, has a 20 min sleep following and wakes up saying…’My neck feels so much better! Thank you!!’ 🫶🏼
