In a world of smartphones, e-mails, and constant connectivity, it can be easy to feel like you're always "on".
Setting clear boundaries doesn't mean you're less committed to your job, it means you're protecting your time, energy, and wellbeing so you can perform at your best. Self-care isn't selfish; it's an important part of maintaining a healthy and sustainable career.
Simple boundaries might include:
✔ Taking your lunch break away from your desk
✔ Finishing work at your scheduled time where possible
✔ Avoiding checking emails late at night
✔ Taking your annual leave and genuinely switching off
✔ Making time for exercise, family, hobbies, and other self-care activities
When we prioritise self-care and establish healthy boundaries, we're better equipped to manage stress, avoid burnout, and bring our best selves to work each day.

🌿 Margherita likes to go for a morning walk and enjoys watching her favourite TV show;
🌿 Alison enjoys listening to audio books while out walking; and
🌿 Bec enjoys playing tennis and having a massage.
Remember, success isn't about being available 24/7. It's about achieving your goals while maintaining your wellbeing and enjoying life outside of work.
How do you practice self-care? We'd love to hear in the comments. 💚
