433 games.
An AFL record.
A career that will be remembered for generations.

Over the past month, our Brendale team has been quietly working behind the scenes producing the special gold numbers worn this weekend by Scott Pendlebury to celebrate his 433rd AFL game.

From mixing custom gold inks through to producing the final transfers, this was one of those projects where every detail mattered.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in such a significant moment in Australian sport and grateful to be trusted when the pressure is on.

Congratulations Pendles on an extraordinary achievement.

How MANY transfers can you press per hour??!? 300+ is now possible with Rotary Heat Press technology. This is super exciting, bridging the gap between short run custom decoration and high volume printing, backing heat printing as the most important garment decoration method into the future!

Not all transfers are built for sublimated garments.

Late Thursday afternoon, a customer contacted us in panic mode before a weekend event. Their e-sport jerseys had been decorated by another supplier using standard DTF transfers, but the sponsor logos that were supposed to be vibrant fluro green had badly discoloured after application.

The black sublimation dye from the garment had migrated straight through the transfers.

The result? Fluoro green logos that definitely weren’t fluoro green anymore.

This is exactly why sublimated garments require a proper sublimation blocker.

We jumped into action using UltraColour PRO with our carbon-based Sublimation Blocker backing plus specialty fluro inks to recreate the logos properly and stop the dye migration issue from happening again.

Transfers printed Friday afternoon.
Pressed Friday night.
Event ready Saturday morning.

This is the difference the right transfer technology makes on difficult garments.

If you’re decorating sublimated jerseys, don’t learn this lesson the hard way.

Winter garments and heat transfers? Absolutely.

Jackets, soft shells, spray jackets and teamwear can look amazing when decorated with the right transfer.

The key is choosing the transfer system that suits the fabric.

UltraColour MAX is a brilliant option for a huge range of jobs, but DTF-style transfers aren’t the best fit for every garment. Winter apparel often includes technical polyester fabrics, water-resistant coatings, reactive dyes or layered fabric constructions that can increase the risk of dye migration.

That’s when you can start seeing:

• Colours shifting after pressing
• White logos turning grey or brown
• Strange blotches appearing days or weeks later
• Expensive garments becoming unusable

That doesn’t mean you should avoid decorating winter garments.

It means you should use the right transfer for the job.

For soft shells, sublimated teamwear, spray jackets and high-risk polyester outerwear, UltraColour PRO with the correct blocker gives you the added protection needed to help stop dye migration before it starts.

When the garment matters, decorators switch to UltraColour PRO Blocker.

Order online or speak to our team if you’re unsure which blocker you need:

UltraColour PRO isn’t just for tricky fabrics.

It’s the smarter choice once your quantities start to climb.

Most people default to DTF for everything… and that’s where they leave money on the table.

Why choose PRO:
✔ More cost effective at 20+ transfers
✔ Same 1 day despatch as MAX
✔ Delivered trimmed and ready-to-press (no cutting required)
✔ Built tougher with our hybrid construction (75+ washes)
✔ Consistent results, every run

MAX is perfect for one-offs and small runs.
But if you’re ordering in volume, PRO is where things start to make sense.

DTF is a great tool — but it’s not the right tool for every job.

If you’re printing on a tech polyester (weather gear, sublimated fabrics etc), matching brand colours, or running larger quantities, there’s a safer option.

🔥 That’s where UltraColour PRO comes in 🔥
With blocker technology to stop dye migration, HP Indigo colour control, and the durability and consistency decorators rely on for larger runs, PRO is built for jobs where reliability matters.

Trying to save money on metre transfers can cost you hours.

True story:
After a full day at work, I had a pressing job to finish that evening.
I ordered my transfers as metreage to save a few dollars.

When I got home ready to start pressing… I realised I had to cut every transfer out first.

Two hours later I’d finally finished cutting them out — and only then could I start pressing.

If I’d ordered MAX 2.0 with the Ready-to-Press pre-cut option, the transfers would have arrived:
• Nicely cut • Sorted • Ready to press

MAX 2.0 transfers are only 7 cents per 10 cm², and the pre-cut service is just 50 cents per transfer. So for a small extra cost, you skip hours of cutting and go straight into pressing.

Sometimes the cheapest option on paper ends up being the most expensive in time.
