2 weeks ago we had desperate drought stricken grazers from North West QLD asking us when the wet season rain was coming. We told them next week so hang in there. We delivered accurate forecasts but each day the rainfall totals and forecasts just kept climbing high and higher. As did the flooding.

WE NEVER IMAGINED WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT 😓😓😓

Now we are talking to the same people in the middle of an inland sea who are losing 1000’s of livestock a day. Wildlife such as Kangaroos, Emus, Birds, Reptiles, every thing is drowning or dying from the shear magnitude of these floods.

NWQLD is...a....catastrophic disaster of heartbreaking and soul destroying proportions.

We’re at a total loss and in complete disbelief that Mother Nature could be so cruel to most hardest working honest people in this country.
We have made phone calls to the area all day to try and comfort them, offer a ear, a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to in the most unforeseen circumstances.

We know what they need... Please, we are begging the Queensland State and Australian Federal government to declare a natural disaster. These people and their livestock need a world of help RIGHT NOW from the highest levels in this country!

There are yearly wet seasons and floods as we know, but after speaking with station owners who have records dating back to the 1800’s this one is the worst they have both seen and recorded.
