Government policies are having a significant impact on the economy, and we recognise that many individuals and companies in the construction industry are having difficulties at this time.

The Federal, state, and territory governments of Australia have announced assistance for companies and individuals who are under financial stress, which are summarised on the following pages:

Assistance is also available for individuals through:

COVID-19 Disaster Payment - if you're adversely affected by a state public health order;
Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment if you can’t work and have been ordered to isolate or quarantine;
Crisis Payment, if you’ve experienced an extreme circumstance or Crisis Payment for National Health Emergency (COVID-19); and
longer term financial help, through:
JobSeeker Payment;
Youth Allowance; and
Parenting Payment.
