Abbas Mahmoodi, our June award recipient, is recognised for his exceptional management of key projects across North America, working closely with our global design engineering partners, and balancing complex project demands and mandates, all while continuing to deliver strong project outcomes.

Since joining Sedgman in 2018, Abbas has progressed through various project engineering and management roles, developing senior processing specialist expertise, and is currently working as a Project Manager. We are pleased to be progressing the North American Lithium Expansion Project in Québec, Canada, alongside Elevra Lithium.

Following completion of the updated scoping study, we are now supporting the ongoing feasibility study and have been awarded a detailed design mandate for the stage one expansion. This milestone reinforces Sedgman’s growing presence in the North American critical minerals sector and its commitment to partnering with clients across the lithium value chain.
