Who should own project risk?

On any project, issues will arise.

A decision gets delayed. Costs begin to change. A contractor identifies an issue that affects another part of the project. A stakeholder is waiting on information from someone else.

Turnkey or Project Management: what's actually the difference?

Both can get a project from concept to completion, but the level of involvement looks quite different.

With client-side Project Management, you retain greater involvement and control, while an experienced project manager represents your interests and coordinates the moving parts around you: programme, consultants, contractors, stakeholders, budget, risk and reporting.

It can be the right approach when you already have some of the project team or procurement structure in place, but need someone to bring clarity, coordination and accountability across delivery.

Turnkey delivery takes that involvement a step further.
