A huge thank you to the lovely Rachael Zumaeta of BAAS Bookkeeping who presented at the June meeting of The Electronic Security Community of Qld and gave us some super info on the importance of the basics in our businesses.

She discussed some new legislation around Superannuation payments, Director's Identification and particularly the requirement to pay yourself a wage as a director. Finally TPAR and whether it applies to those of us that pay contractors.

The Fair Work Ombudsman is reminding employers and employees that the new right to disconnect begins today for non-small businesses.
