We are living through a cultural obsession with true crime.

Podcasts, documentaries and long-form ‘based on a true story’ series have turned death into narrative: something we follow, analyse and consume – at a distance.

Facilitated by playwright and former funeral director, Steve Pirie, this conversation explores how contemporary theatre and dance artists are responding to our fascination with death – and what changes when these ideas are translated into live experience.

Deaf Auslan users wanted!

Queensland Museum is looking for Deaf Auslan users to visit the Croc! exhibition and provide feedback on the Auslan interpretation throughout the exhibition.

We’re inviting up to 10 people to join us for a group visit on Saturday 29 August at 10:30am. An Auslan interpreter will be there to facilitate a face-to-face feedback session with the group and a Queensland Museum representative.
