Today’s pic’s from our works at Ripley with our crew - Josh, Brodie and Liam!
PE Trunk main along an existing road. These pipes were assembled, trench dug and laid to precise measurements.
The boys are also very knowlegable with their rigging skills!
It’s pretty awesome to see 3 excavators lowering the finished product in. Our guys do an amazing job guiding the machines in so the pipes are perfectly in position.
We also love the afternoon sun in these pics! There’s never these views when you’re working indoors!

Our newest recruit, our son Jack! Getting some awesome experience in Pipelaying and Labouring at one of our projects at Ripley this school holidays. He’s under close instruction and supervison by Dad of course! Well done Jack, and thanks for your hard work.

Some pics last week of our crew undertaking night works on Mt Lindesay Hwy, Jimboomba, led by our Pipe Supervisor Josh.
We’ve also had day work crews on this project during these essential upgrades, partnering with SEE Civil as principal contractor.
Highway works can be more challenging than suburban sub-divisions at times, due to managing traffic flow, as well as the replanning and shaping of existing infrastructure.
Due to the nature of these projects, the high density areas they’re usually in, and the tight timeframes, it’s essential we have our best team and skill set on these projects, to ensure works are done right, the first time.
We thank Josh and our Hwy team for their work and dedication on this project.

Double mesh, steel reinforced manholes on a recent job in Flagstone.

These specialised structures are built by our Pipelayer’s and are under our roads to capture rainwater as part of drainage design.

Typically they may take around 3 days to complete, including the tying of the mesh and final concreting construction. This is a requirement of all manholes over certain depths. Some can be as deep as 4.5 meters.

Benching is a critical safety step in all Pipeline operations to minimise cave in’s at underground level. Excavators bench all pipelines prior to crews commencing works and entering below ground level.

Our Pipelayer Kam captured this image at his current job at Flagstone. He is leading a crew laying trunk main, in 7 meter depths! 😲

Safety is always our first priority on these specialised pipelines. Lead team members are trained in confined spaces and have crew at ground level controlling machinery movements, ensuring accurate pipe placement at underground level. Our Pipelayer below is laying in trenching boxes to prevent potential trench cave in’s.

The pipeline is around 1.4kms long and will take approximately 16 weeks to complete due to the depth of the line.

We thank Kam and his crew for their skill in completing this project in conjunction with SEE Civil for the Flagstone Greater Development.
