Meet Linda Voyorite β founder of Jabez Business Services in Goroka and one of five hub leaders partnering with Strongim Hub, Strongim Bisnis.
For a decade, Linda has helped entrepreneurs across the Eastern Highlands turn ideas into income β through financial literacy training, business start-up courses and one-on-one mentoring.
Through partnerships with hubs like Jabez Business Services, more women, youth, people with disability and rural community members across Papua New Guinea are starting and sustaining the businesses that grow local economies.
Strongim Hub, Strongim Bisnis, an Australian Government initiative, is strengthening business service hubs across Papua New Guinea to train and support small to medium size business owners.
Strongim Hub - Strongim Bisnis, an Australian Government initiative, is strengthening business service hubs across Papua New Guinea to train and support small to medium size business owners.
One of five hubs selected to partner with the programme is Jabez Business Services in Goroka, founded and led by Linda Voyorite.
Linda previously worked as a Business Development Officer with the Eastern Highlands Provincial Government, running SME awareness campaigns across the province. Through that work, she saw first-hand how many people wanted to start businesses but had no access to structured training or support.
In 2016, Linda established Jabez Business Services and has run it for close to a decade- providing financial literacy training, business start-up courses, and ongoing mentoring to micro and small entrepreneurs across the Eastern Highlands.
Strengthening organisations like Jabez is central to the purpose of Strongim Hub, Strongim Bisnis: expanding access to business development support for women, youth, people with disability, and rural families across Papua New Guinea.
