“Your connection is not private” means the site’s security certificate isn’t valid, the browser can’t confirm the connection is actually safe.

It usually takes two minutes to fix. The real problem is when nobody’s checking in the first place.

Ever click that little icon next to a website address and think, “ok, we’re safe”?

“Connection is secure” only means the information sent to the site is encrypted. It doesn’t tell you how logins are protected, or how the site handles your data behind the scenes.
