A little spring play, all bundled up 🌻

After putting together our Spring Play Guide, I thought it would be fun to put together a bundle with some of my favourite bits for spring potion play too.

Sensory play at a birthday party can be a bit hard to picture if you’ve never actually been to one 🫣

But basically… I arrive with a whole lot of stuff, set it all up, and for the next hour the kids pour, scoop, mix, squish, make potions, create all sorts of things and generally get VERY busy playing.

And you get to enjoy watching them without having to plan another activity, keep everyone entertained or wonder what on earth you’re going to do with 12 little kids for an hour 😅

Every party is a little different too. I use your theme, colours, what your little person is into + the ages of the kids coming along to plan the play.

And no, it’s usually not nearly as messy as you’re imagining! They might be a little wet or sticky by the end… but that’s half the fun!

I only have a few weekend dates left for 2026, so if you’ve got a birthday coming up and have been thinking about a Wonder Seekers party, now’s probably a good time to have a look 👀

I’ve been working on this little guide for a while now and it’s finally ready to share 🌼

I went back through the Wonder Seekers archives (there are A LOT!) and pulled together some of my favourite spring play ideas from our sessions + events over the years.

Nothing complicated or fancy — just a few simple ways to enjoy the warmer spring weather through sensory + nature play, using lots of things you probably already have at home or can find outside 🌿

Flowers, water, playdough, recycled cardboard + all those random little leaves and sticks the kids insist on bringing home (iykyk)

The brief was Secret Garden picnic… with cats! 💛 A very cute addition to this gorgeous girl’s first birthday.

And thank you so much for dinner! Honestly, sitting around chatting afterwards (and then eating some delicious food!) has been the highlight of my week. 🥹

Birthday Wishes 🎂✨

I’ve wanted to do a proper birthday party themed session for the longest time, and with Wonder Seekers turning 3 this year, it felt like the perfect excuse 🥹🩷

Think presents, party hats, birthday cakes, balloons, sprinkles, disco balls and plenty of messy birthday fun.

Some of it came together exactly how I pictured it, some of it absolutely did not 😂 but the little people had the best time celebrating with me.

Apparently I’ve packed 25+ orders in the last 6 weeks… which I genuinely didn't realise until I went back through all the photos!

And looking at them all together made me realise just how much different stuff is heading out of here too.

Playdough, potion goodies, sensory trays, play tools, themed kits, stampers + plenty of newer things that I’ve probably added to the website and then completely forgotten to show you on here 🙃

I’ve been slowly working towards making Wonder Seekers a bit of a one-stop shop for sensory play — whether you’re looking for a birthday gift, something new for your own kids or resources for the children you work with.

And I know there are SO many places you could choose to buy these things from, so I’m genuinely very grateful every time someone chooses to shop small + spend their money with me. Whether it’s a $10 order or a great big box of goodies, it all means a lot 🥹

There are also 9 Spring Rep orders mixed in amongst these 👀🌼 and seeing as it’s officially September 1st, their term starts TODAY! I cannot wait to see what everyone creates with the things they've chosen.
