Over 90% of Australians voted YES in the Referendum - a powerful step toward recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the census and allowing the Federal Government to create laws for them.

While it didn't mark the end of inequality, it was a moment of unity, progress, and the result of tireless advocacy from First Nations communities.

Today, we reflect on the strength, resilience, and voices that made this change possible - and recognise that the journey toward true equality continues.

Today, on National Sorry Day, we pause to acknowledge the strength, resilience, and survival of the Stolen Generations, families, and communities.

It is a day of reflection, truth-telling, and remembrance — recognising the pain caused by past government policies that forcibly removed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, cultures, and Country.

But today is also about honouring the enduring spirit of First Nations peoples. Despite generations of trauma, culture continues to thrive, stories continue to be shared, and communities continue to lead with strength, love, and resilience.

Sorry means listening.
Sorry means learning.
Sorry means standing together to ensure history is never forgotten and that future generations can walk forward with healing, pride, and hope.

We pay our respects to the Stolen Generations, to Elders past and present, and to all those continuing the journey toward healing and reconciliation. 🖤💛❤️

All jokes aside, as a small business — especially in this industry — we often need to outlay funds upfront for each job before receiving payment from our clients.

This means our cash flow can be tied up for extended periods, leaving limited liquid funds available to continue operating smoothly and servicing upcoming orders.

When invoices aren’t paid on time, it can create unnecessary pressure and stress for small businesses that could easily be avoided with prompt payment.
