A bit different from our usual demolition work this week.
The boys have been busy removing industrial racking from a large warehouse, carefully dismantling and stacking it ready for reuse.

It was great to welcome Nick, an architect and researcher from QUT, to our yard this week along with his architecture students. The visit formed part of a QUT design studio focused on sustainable design and material reuse in construction, giving students the opportunity to see reclaimed materials in practice.
It’s always rewarding to show how sustainable practices work in the real world.

Another sustainable demo done.
The boys removed and sorted the timber, ready for reuse (not landfill), and left the site clean for the civil crew to move in.

We recently completed the demolition of the sales display unit at Newport, getting the site ready for the next stage of development.
