Support Coordination & Specialist Supports - impact from the NDIS pricing review.

As an organisation, we are deeply concerned about the recent NDIS Pricing Review and the very real impact it may have on the services we provide—particularly support coordination, social work therapy, and behaviour support.

Despite being a vital part of the NDIS—used by nearly 1 in 2 participants—support coordination has again received no pricing increase, remaining stagnate for the last 6 years. At the same time, restrictions to travel funding for therapy and behaviour support will limit our ability to deliver services in the home and community, where many of our clients need us most. These decisions come at a time when demand, complexity and workforce costs are rising across the sector - and these seems to be no regard for how this impacts on the people living with disability.

We want to reassure our clients that our priority remains unchanged: to meet your needs with integrity, care and responsiveness. But we also know that these pricing changes will place pressure on our team and other providers, and that ripple effects may be felt across the system if action isn’t taken.

We’ve written to the NDIS Ministers to express our concerns and we stand in solidarity with others in the sector calling for urgent revision.

If these changes may affect you or someone you care for, we encourage you to contact your local MP or relevant Minister. Together, we can call for fairer pricing that supports quality services and a strong, sustainable NDIS.
